I'm Daniel Joseph (my friends call me DJ). 

I'm a Montreal based professional studio session guitarist, producer, arranger, sound engineer and song writer. I have over 20 years experience in a variety of musical styles. I also offer temporary or permanent fill-in live guitarist services to artists.

I'm a "chill" guitarist who has previously worked with The Platters, Body Heat, Top Secret, Pierre Perpall, Alma Faye Brooks, Tchukon, Freddie James, Omar Hakim, Dutch Robinson, South African Singer Lorraine Klassen, The Imani Gospel Singers, Kim Richardson, Dawn Tyler Watson, Shaharah & Soulvation, Nancy Martinez, Martin Stevens, Goldie Alexander, Geraldine Hunt, Tony Green, Joel Campbell and Coco Thompson.

Over the course of my career I have co-produced "Murphy’s Law" with Geraldine Hunt for Cheri, "Could It Be Love" with Loni Gamble, "Pulse Of The Planet" with Slim Williams and "Morning Pages" with Alan Prater.

My strengths are in writing and composing music  and sound engineering. I enjoy working with tight rhythm sections and creating great musical works!

I'm a very versatile musician and producer influenced by artists such as: Michael Jackson, George Benson, James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, Pat Metheny, Larry Carlton, Wah Wah Watson, Chuck Berry, B.B.
